Gutted by England's performance. They looked like they weren't even trying. France were deserved winners, and if they can build on that performance they could go all the way.

Wales looked very good in defence -- good enough to make a very strong Irish team look decidedly average. The Wales-France game will be fantastic.

Great exciting match with a terribly disappointing outcome. Wales gave it everything and by all rights should be in the final. I don't know in what universe the ref thought that tackle would be considered a red card. Yellow at the very worst.
Although, to be fair, Wales did have two opportunities to come out ahead. I didn't expect Stephen Jones of all people to miss that. He always seems to come through when it matters.

Tomorrow Australia vs NZ. I hope the Australian forwards can get some quick ball so the backs can do their magic.
I am also amazed by the depth the All Blacks have in the squad. It doesn't matter how many people get injured, there is always someone there to step up and take it up a notch.

The Quarter- and semi-finals have been plagued with some below par refereeing, unfortunately, which may have changed the outcomes of at least two of the matches.

Based on today's match, the All Blacks are going to have to play very poorly next week to lose against France.

With due sympathy to Wales I think the red card was fair, it may have been accidental but it was still dangerously close to dropping him on his head. (Still Wales should have won)

Assuming they are going to win would be the biggest mistake the All Blacks can make. The French have some of the most talented players in the world and if they're confident and play as a team they can come out ahead quite easily.
They haven't shown their ability this World Cup and I doubt they will in the final. Nevertheless, the All Blacks tend to choke when it matters and Les Bleus are unpredictable so we'll see what happens on Sunday.
