As Banion rides to Juliana's aid, Eusebius spins around and moves to intercept the dog attacking Beamer. Twirling his chain over his head, he sends it whistling in to attack the snarling beast.

"Thankyou, Father," Beamer quips as Eusebius comes to his aid. His companions quick attacks have greatly improved the odds, so Beamer holds back on his more powerful spells. Instead he lobs a ball of acid at one of the enemies.

OOC:
Beamer will move to within 30 feet of an opponent, injured if possible. d1, O14, O9 in order of preference. He casts acid splash (1d20+9=15, 1d3+1=3), includes bless, point blank shot and precise shot, but his opponent may have soft cover.
Spells remaining:
0th: 5, 1st: 4, 2nd: 2
Mage armor still in effect: AC 19
Bolts fired: 1

The wounded dog attacking Beamer flees before superior oponents.

ooc: Should that one have moved from its current position? The map and the text seem at odds (though I may just be being thick!)

Boog climbs in through the window.

Inside the house, Boog finds himself in the kitchen. The orc backs a little further away and sends another arrow into the unarmored human. This one hits, a minor wound on the arm (4 pts dmg)
Boog grimaced as the arrow struck home, then snarled, "You'll wish you hadn't done that" to the orc with the bow.

It never occurred to him that the orc might not speak Common. Or that he had actually spoken, instead of using Power. Not that the orc would have allowed him into his mind willingly.

Boog felt the power of Eusebius's spell guide his strike. It was a mighty slash, but the orc twisted as he struck so that he wasn't sure if the blade had sunk home or had merely rent the creature's garments.

Either way, Boog was aware of the sound of tearing cloth in all the chaos and noise of the fight. The orc, on the other hand, was only aware that he'd just shot this glistening human maniac that was the source of the unearthly humming sound in the arm, and the unarmored human was still advancing on him.[sblock=OoC: ]Attack is 1d20+3+1(for bless)=14, Damage if it hits is 1d4+1+1(for bless)=6. Hope I didn't waste a good damage roll! And PP should be 20/34, with HP at 17/29.[/sblock]

Round 4 (con't)

Juliana steps back and strikes down another orc.

Round 5
Eusebius moves in to attack the dog, but can't connect.

Inside the house, Boog dagger thrust is turned aside by the orc's sturdy chainmail.

Beamer hurls a small ball of acid at the dog, also missing.

Banion urges his horse towards the orcs and strikes down the last effective opponet. Now only four blinded orcs and a dog.

The dog, harried by acid balls and spiked chains, and already wounded by horse hooves, decides discretion is the better part of valor, and dashes off after his fellow into the dark woods to the South of the farmhouse.

Inside the kitchen, Boog's opponent drops his bow, pulls our a longsword, and takes a swipe at our favorite psion. For better or worse, he misses.

The others can hear the battling inside the house.

Banion projects his thoughts over the telepathic link.

Boog, how much help do you need? Julianna, can you help him? We'd better take out these last four Orcs before they recover their sight, then we can try to make sure as many as possible survive to be questioned.

He'll also yell out in Goblin, Gnome, Halfling and Common "Drop your weapons and surrender!"

He'll charge his mindblade and attack any opponent who doesn't drop a weapon.

Thrown Mindblade, with Bless (1d20+12=20, 1d4+2+1d8=12)

Beamer doesn't want to use up more magic than he must. He reloads his crossbow and then prepares to strike down any orc that regains its sight.

OOC:
Ready action to cast magic missle on any orc that starts functioning again. Hopefully the others can finish them off before he needs to use it.
Spells remaining (before this magic missle):
0th: 5, 1st: 4, 2nd: 2
Mage armor still in effect: AC 19
Bolts fired: 1
