S1: The Strange Case of Aif Jenkins' Farm (E13 judge) - Concluded

Juliana will mount up in case Banion needs help once she's done with her sweep.

'It's all clear around here, nothing realy of note in the rest of the house.' she projects to the others.

No one asked them this.

ooc: Yeah, the italics were meant to indicate an in character question from Banion to the other PCs over the mindlink. In other words, Banion was suggesting they ask it. :)

OOC:
What I want to have Eusebius do is some sort of flashy move that means that he spins Jenkins around and heads him in the opposite direction without doing him any damage - but I don't know what the mechanic would be.

I'm assuming that what Manz described would be the beginnings of some sort of bullrush or grapple - and unless Jenkins has the appropriate feat then that would attract an attack of opportunity. It's the AoO I'm wanting to capitalize on. Please note: I don't want to hurt him; I don't even want to subdue him. I just want to deflect him.

"More orcs? I thought you said we'd dealt with all the orcs. What's going on here?"

"Haven't asked about Torvin - the farmer's not being very cooperative at the moment. There's something going on, and I think he's about to get violent." Eusebius advises the others.

Eusebius is able to catch and shove Jenkins away without too much effort. The farmer is sturdy, but either unprepared, or unskilled in unarmed combat.

He glares at the monk. "There's more orcs about, aren't there? I want to gather my things, but in private." he says.

Eusebius nods, suddenly sympathetic.

"All right, Master Jenkins, I'm on my way. But before I go, can you tell me anything about Torvin Akenthrasher? I understand that he's been around here - and I bear messages for him from the High Priest of my Temple."

"Crisis averted, I think. I'm just about to find out if he knows anything about Torvin."
