S2: War in Vastermarch - Completed

Beamer's eyes the new group warily from beneath his cowl as they close the distance. His small hooded head shifts between the portion of the new group gathered at the wagon Juliana can take care of herself should the halflings riding forward prove to not be friends inspite of their salutations and the driver of his own group's wagon I wonder if he knows any of these.

He relaxes slightly at the mention of fighting orcs, but immediately tenses again by the end of Ogrin's story. His gaze is now solely focused on the approaching wagon.

OOC: Boog's not with us I think.

Juliana waives her companions forward and dismounts. Her plate armor is uniquely crafted for her, and looks pristine.

"Good to see you Talbin. Father Eusebius requested I help him with a task, which we have just finished. We were on our way to Braeholl to warn the town and prepare for what appers to be an orc invasion."

As her companions approach.

"This is Father Eusebius, Banion, Beamer, and Torvin."

Boog is gone, having ridden off earlier. The caravan was about a quarter mile away when spotted. The two groups are now closing in together, as Juliana's group waits for Ogrin's. Currently you're a bit spread out.

Nodis' spot check is not enough

"Eusebius!" exclams Nodis, finally recognizing the monk. "Did you run out of undead to punch? These orcs are alive, you know."

"Eusebeius and me helped clearing a mine infested with zombies some time ago." explains the young psion. "He has, or had, a happystick - that would have been useful the other night."

Banion regrets the intrinsic lack of stealth that a mounted halfling must suffer, but it does make it a lot easier to keep up the the tall folk. If only he had a way to translate his mental energy into a little more speed...

Even as he ponders this, Banion remains alert, taking in even the most hidden details.Spot Checks (1d20+8=18, 1d20+8=21) ooc: He beats the DC 20.

Rasereit, remaining alert despite his impatience, spots (17) something. He turns to the caravan behind him and discreetly mentions to Hugh, "Oi, watch yer flank, somethin's rustlin' in the trees. Warn the others, might be a spot o' trouble." His dark eyes twinkle with savage eagerness. His shield and waraxe are already out.
