Round 13:

Rasereit comes crashing through the woods right into Tharok.

Not sure if Razh can get an attack in this round. If he can...
Rasereit has had it with running all over the battlefield, looking for something to hurt. Tharok is the unlucky recipient of the maddened dwarf's pent up rage, taking a terrible blow to the chest from the magical waraxe. (Hits AC 24, 13 damage to Tharok)

OOC: If he can't make it through the woods and attack this round, I'll use that roll next round.

Round 13 10:36:12

Ogrin, Nodis, Juliana and Beamer are still with the wagon, the civilians, and the blinded Banion. No enemies seem to threaten any more, though the sound of combat can be heard to the Northeast as Eusebius battles the orc leader. Razh and Talbin rush at top speed to the fray. Razh cannot charge through difficult terrain, so he closes with the half-orc. Talbin's short legs fail to carry him to the fray, though he does get close with a full run action.

Eusebius closes and strikes the half-orc with two rapid blows. He hears the satisfying cruch of bone beneath his fists, but he knows the battle is not yet over. Tharok tumbles backwards, rolls to his feet and flees. The monk's heart drops; this wizard he faces is fleeing very fast. (60' movement rate)

[Ogrin, Nodis, Juliana and Beamer can still act this round. With a double move withdraw through difficult terrain, this puts Tharok 60 feet NE of Eusebius and Razh, and about 80 feet NE of Talbin. The glitterdust fades away this round, and he will no longer be visible next round unless closely pursued.]

OOC: Manz, I guess this means that he uses the Tumble skill, since there's no mechanical reason for him to be knocked prone by E's attack. That being the case, he wouldn't attract an AoO, and I don't think there's much that E can do. He will run after Tharok but 40' movement isn't going to cut it against 60'. Probably he'll be forced to give up as soon as T is out of sight.

No. The tumble was pure fluff. It's just kind of how I envision a 'withdraw' action to work. Father E is attacking with his 'open hands' but its actually his feet or whatever and he still has his spiked chain in his hands, right? So does that mean he should get an AoO for when Tharok moves from 10 to 15 feet away?

Yep, that's the beauty of being a monk with a reach weapon - you can still make a Flurry of Blows, even with a non-monk weapon in your hands.

He does get an AoO on the 10-15' move increment. He'll attempt to trip Tharok. :]

I don't have time to roll this right now, so if you want to do so, go ahead! :) Otherwise, I'll roll when I get the chance.

OOC: You can double move charge too, so 60' isn't far enough away from a speedy monk (who should have a move of more than 30, with or without boots)

OOC: Ah, but the problem is that it's rough terrain, so he can't charge (otherwise Rahz would have closed with him in the previous round).

OOC: I thought he tumbled away too! Razh is easily 5' away from Tharok, thanks to his double move last round, so he also gets an AoO.

Rasereit reaches the spell-slinging half-orc just as he decides to make a break for it. Rasereit grins toothily, and his waraxe flies from behind him to cut Tharok across the chest. (Hits AC 26, 9 damage to Tharok)

OOC: Sigh... And I had such a good roll against orc #16! Too bad he moved before I realized. :(
