S2: War in Vastermarch - Completed

Round 14 10:36:18

Talbin closes with the prone Tharok, and Eusebius bashes him again. The half-orc looks to be in pretty bad shape at this point. He's surrounded by three oponents, and he's prone.

"I surrender! Don't kill me!" he shouts in common, while sheilding his face with his hands.

In response, Eusebius kicks the cowering mage in the head.

Twice.

He does it in such a way, however, as to stun and render his opponent unconscious, rather than to kill. Then he turns away, saying, "Tie him up, someone. Good and tight. And make sure his fingers are tied together, and his mouth stuffed with rags. We need to get underway, and we don't need the worry of this particular prisoner getting loose and causing trouble."

He heads back to the main party, to see who is in need of emergency healing.

[sblock=OOC]Flurry of blows. Subdual damage.[/sblock]

Eusebius' kick seems to take the orc leader out. He's clearly a spellcaster, and what appears to be a spell-book is found in his pouch. He's also got a magical bone amulet, a magical cloak, and a ruby ring.

The group packs up and continues on towards Braeholl.

"Sorry, Banion. I wish I could help, but I don't know what to do. Hopefully it will fade, but I know that is little condolence."

"Good work Father Eusebius! And he's still alive even." Turning a cold glare on Tharok, he continues, "He'll let us in on what was going on here."

"I'm sorry, Banion, I have nothing that will help you recover your sight. Perhaps in Braeholl we can find someone to heal you."

Eusebius is sympathetic but there is a hardness about his manner, as if, judging himself, he has no energy left for anything - even compassion - except for the task at hand.

Banion asks his companions if any of them might have a spell to cure blindness or dispel magic.
"Get on one of the Horses, I'll lead it for you. Someone in town should be able to help." Juliana says. She'll help him mount the horse if need be.

"Yes!" says Nodis. "And we won again! Let's see where can we rest and find out more bout this orc weapon"

Banion follows Julianna's instructions, hoping that wherever they rest will be near a suitably powerfull Cleric.

ooc: A 5th level Cleric can cure blindness, and it can be dispelled, but it's permanent until fixed.
