Poto Knezer sees the group off, but shows up w/o any gear. He acts as though Rasereit hadn't asked him to accompany them. "Good luck, gentlemen. Do send word about how it goes. And remember the symbol." He holds up a small silver dragon head pendant, identical to the one Volidar Stormblade gave to Talbin. "These are only given to friends, when on a mission. If you meet someone with one, he should be an ally. Unless, of course, someone killed him and took it away from him..."
I'd prefer that everyone check in that they're ready to go, and go in this direction, before I continue with the action...

ooc: Well, our plan is lousy, but since pbp imposed ADHD seems to have us too locked up to discuss it Banion's ready to go. Are we going to turn into the Silverwood from the stockade? Have I missed why we are talking about Rivensblight -- is that where we think we can find Reinhart or something?

Oh, its not so bad. Rivensblight is on the map, and is where Beamer & Banion originally met Reinert (& Torvin).

IC: "Perhaps someone in a larger city will know where to find Trimble. We should ask about it, though be circumspect, while we try to find an enchanter for Rasereit's shield."

OOC: Beamer tried to check with Tharok to see if the orc knew anything about Trimble, but didn't succeed in finding anything. Perhaps when Rasereit tries to find an enchanter for his shield, he (or Beamer as his page) can ask around a bit more to find out if anyone knows Trimble without revealing too much about who we are or why we want to find him.
Edit: Oh, and I'm ready to continue on. I don't much like wandering around the woods, but I don't think Braeholl holds anything more than one of the other cities would.

Still shaken, yet strangely relieved after making his confession to his companions, Eusebius says simply, "Let's go."

OOC: Oh, and since there seems to be a lot of it around, he'll definitely prepare a couple of Detect Evil spells. I'll firm up the spell list later today.

The group heads out South, just the five of them and their mounts. Beamer carries the strange weapon in its case on his back, as he rides behind Razh.

The first few days pass uneventfully. They reach Beth Hannon, and pause to do some shopping. Both Razh & Beamer find what they want with little difficulty.

As they rest in an inn in this town, Eusebius receives a message. He is sitting, drinking tea before bed, when the voice of the octogenerian priest from Braeholl comes to his head. "Torvin gone." Four Thule states in his quavering voice, audible only to the monk. "Angry that you left without telling him. Confronted Knezer. Probable battle. Knezer gone. Torvin went South on warhorse. None would stop him. Bless..."

The voice stops. Eusebius realizes he is able to answer if he wishes, up to 25 words.

When they arrive in Beth Hannon, Rasereit does some asking around at the tavern for enchanters. "Ah'm lookin' t'get me shield enchanted, Ah heard of a bloke named... eh... Trimble? Said 'e was an artificer o' sorts, lived 'round these parts, 'zat right?"

He finds a wizard in the city, commissions his shield, sells his old one, and asks the wizard about Trimble. "Ah heard stories back in Orussus of a wizard, a bard was singin' 'bout how he fixed some magic weapon for some adventurers after they saved him from wolves... Trimble! Trimble was his name. Ever heard o' 'im?" Rasereit forks over the four grand and returns to the inn, hopefully with some new information.

"Ogrin, look at this beauty!" Rasereit displays his new heavy shield with pride. He carries it as easily as he would a lighter shield, surprisingly. He performs a few quick axe slashes followed by a bash with the shield on some invisible enemies. "Ah guess me muscles are firmin' up, the old one was gettin' too light. But look at these spikes, mate! Ah swear, they do as much damage to yer insides as ol' Roar hear! All bite, no bark, that's what this is. Bite... hm, Ah like it. Bite! Bite n' Roar, a good pair. Vundinn!!" Rasereit is making quite the scene on the street, roaring and slashing and bashing.

Eventually he calms down and goes into the inn.
