Sabaron teaches the Toymaker a lesson! (Thanks Darkwolf!)

Sabaron

First Post
The Grandmaster of the Order of the Frog looks troubled. Many days have passed since he has last fought, due to a serious shakeup in his homeland. The rebel forces that he helped form have been crushed, and the King's power is solidifying by the day, yet Sabaron is here, in the land of YB, instead of there fighting beside his people.

"I lost my entire family to those brutes while here on my futile search. I'm still not strong enough to beat the king..."

Sabaron ponders for a bit. "What can I do to ease the suffering of my people? My Order is florishing, but we aren't numerous enough to invade. I have regained my former power, but that isn't enough to defeat the King. I have yet to find the heir to the throne over here."

Sabaron sits quietly for a while and closes his eyes.

Suddenly, his eyes snap open and he gets to his feet.
"A fight! That will increase my power, the prestige of the Order, and perhaps attract more brave knights to the cause of freedom in the kingdom! Now I just need an opponent..."

"Ah, there you are. My name is Sabaron Corlagon. I am a Green Belt 3 with a record of 11-10."

A horse drawn wagon rolls up upon Sabaron. A quircky little guy sits a top holding the riegns. Dressed in a long tattered brown trench coat, knee high black boots and a black wide brimmed hat. As he jumps down and lands on the ground there seems to be a lot of rattling and noise made.

"Ahh a person of this land. How are friend? I am known as The Toymaster. I have come to this troubled land in order to bring cheer to the kids and people of this land. Also I hear evil lurks here. I am prepared to meet them to. But I fear I do not know the fighting styles of this land. Would you be kind enough to show me?" The Toymaster asks.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Toymaker. I would be happy to show you the various fighting styles of this land, and teach you it's ways."

"Yes, evil lurks here. It lurks in the form of Kazz't, a devil who embodies the orderly side of evil... he'll take your soul if you sign a contract with him. There is also the Dark Jester, who is the insanity of evil. Don't joke with him... his laugh can break the minds of children and adults alike. Arkanyl is another Master of Darkness, and a skilled combatant on the side of evil. He's done nothing particulary noteworthy that I'm aware of."

"Mirashi Iso is a skilled assassin from the west who is widely despised for slaying a popular and successful dojo master. He's also known to be nearly unbeatable in combat. Wrath is a twisted, disgusting woman who enjoys drinking blood and slaying innocents. Noir is a local ninja, though she hasn't done anything particularly spectacular in the field of evil."

"Nightmare, Dalamar and Wild Helm are all the small fry of evil, too weak to have done anything seriously bad. Nightmare is an evil spirit, Dalamar is um... merciful evil, and Wild Helm is a chaotic anarchist. There are also a number of gangs here, but no one's sure how many of their members are evil and how many are just greedy. The only one of them of note is Don Meowth, the Overlord. Watch out for him; he has Satan's blessing and is an excellent warrior."

"Of course, there can be no shadows without a light... the followers of Light here are: Kalanyr, the Luminary, known for starting the Blue Belts League and slaying the evil Lord Soth, Kenji, known for taking a beating but staying in the good fight, Kcyldyei, the elf and winner of the Tournament of the Frog and Dratini, the Pokemon of Light."

"As for myself, I am troubled. Perhaps I shall tell you my story later, but I fear that I have already been over-talkative. Let me finish by telling you of our fighting traditions."

"Our fights begin with a ritual insult. I shall insult you and you shall insult me. A judge will weigh the two insults, and award the insult round to the winner. The winner decides on the length and type of match."

"Are you ready to try one? If so, here is my ritual insult: I find your puppy to be slovenly, your playground to be tattered, and your lover's school to be ignorant."

" Yes we should sit and talk awhile after the fight. I would be interested in the ways of the people in this land. Only so I can help them better."

"An insult? Hmmmmm... Interesting way of starting a match. This is very new to me. But if that is the way of this land then that is the way." The Toymaster tells Sabaron.

"Here goes....
I find your teacher to be arrogant, your shrine to be a(n) broken torture chamber, and your insult to be absent."

The Sable Wyvern lands nearby and offers to judge.

How can one with a slovenly puppy and a tattered playground hope to make things for children? Toymaster, it is your insult that is absent.

Insults to Sabaron.

The Sable Wyvern has decreed this match to take place at the marsh east of the Garden of Lost Hope on the night of the west wind.

"Toymaker, there are several types of match. My preferred is known as a strategy match, where we each think of five moves and use three in the successive rounds. Go ahead and create a hand."

I wish this to be a five flag speed strategy match with either web gen or Meowthbot generated moves. Don't forget to use ybxhand! (like I did the first time ;))

<MeowthBot> 1: The turtle terrifyingly tramples the hells; conceals the beauty of the river!
<MeowthBot> 2: The crab dodges above the desert; shields the violence of the garden! *yen*
<MeowthBot> 3: The manticore storms the temple; parries the pain of the ledge!
<MeowthBot> 4: The oak storms the hells and shouts on top of the Old Hermit's Village; conceals the chi of the maze! *yen*
<MeowthBot> 5: The northstar charges the dungeon; avoids the speed of the river!

" Ok I have decided upon my five moves. Now let us begin this challenge." Toymaster says with a smile.

1: The staff invades the paradise; parries the throw of the garden!

2: The manticore illuminates the grotto; wards off the descent of the sickle!

3: The crane thrusts the volcano; dominates the motion of the body!

4: The crane charges the vineyard; shields the assailment of the star!

5: The foot burns the foothills; redirects the motion of the ice!

OOC: Sabaron could you post your stats please :)

ooc: My styles are Staff, Hammer, Tiger and West Wind. My powers are FoF and Chi Strike. Sorry about that.

Sabaron smiles back at his opponent as he begins the match with his customary overwhelming attack. Sabaron assumes the Turtle style, looking for an excellent defense, and charges the Toymaker, seeking to take advantage of his low center of gravity.

The turtle terrifyingly tramples the hells; conceals the beauty of the river!

The Toymaster reaches into his long coat and pulls out what looks to be a wind up crane. He begins to wind it up and places it on the ground. The crane moves forward, towards Sabaron. As it gets close to him it suddenly lunges forward to stike him in the knee.

The crane thrusts the volcano; dominates the motion of the body!
