Part 3 of the Polymorph Series.

Quote from Article:
Upon changing, the subject regains lost hit points as if it had rested for a night. The subject regains 1 hit point per character level. Character level includes racial Hit Dice and all class levels. The subject does not heal any temporary ability damage or get any other benefits of resting. Changing back does not heal the subject further. If slain, the subject reverts to its original form, though it remains dead.

The subject gains the Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution scores of the new form but retains its own Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores.
The subject retains its own mind, but its body is transformed into a semblance of the assumed form. Unlike previous versions of the D&D game, the subject's hit points change according to his new Constitution score. The subject's Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution scores revert to normal when resuming its normal form, which may prompt another change in hit points.

Good idea.

totally OT... but what did you do to Clerics to get their power more in line with the rest?

Mike

Easy one : just remove heavy armor, good fort save and a few hp and give them more powers/skills related to their god.

Kinda. I'd rather change rogues and bards to d8, clerics to d6, skillpoints +4/level, low Fort save, no Heavy armour... and spontaneous casting of your domain spells instead of the cure spells :D

Now go tell that to my players ;)

Sort of OT:

Does anyone know when they are going to get around to Wildshape and if they are even going to cover it? From reading the article it talks about a Pt. 4, but not sure what its going to cover.

Also because the polymorph rewrite now specifically states you don't get Templates, yet there are Wildshape feats which grant Templates, specifically Celestial.

Logic wins, now I only gotta screw Natural Spell for the pesky druids :D

Don't do that! Let the Druid wildshape into a bear and get the extra hit points. Then in combat, be sure to get a lot of good hits on him. Much as you can. Then cast Dispel Magic on him, turn him back to human (or whatever) and watch the change back in hit points bring him to -30... :)
