For the Saturday 19th game we will be playing out the attempted Destruction of House Noquar by the House Vae in the drow city of Erelhei-Cinlu. We will be playing mindflayer slayers since House Noquar is allied with the buggers. If you want, role up 16th or 17th level mindflayer hunters. If you don't feel like rolling a character up, there are a few that we have already made up. Chris, you can update Daquinquar and play her if you wish. Zografos has gained her freedom. I will be playing Zografos. You guys can find him on the Inzeladun website. If you guys have any questions just let me know.

Could we get a brief background as to the history leading up to this and a list of the players and quick background on each?

Since I'll be playing in this group off and on, I could play Varn like I did last or I'm rather interested in playing some sort of Mad Wizard who wants to kill or capture a common enemy or recover an artifact -- joining the slayers as additional protection. Someone think up a motivation that would weave nicely into the plot and I'll have fun playing it. Don't care if I succeed or die in the attempting of it, in fact -- just wanna play!

Other mindflayer slayers

Could we get a brief background as to the history leading up to this and a list of the players and quick background on each?

Basically the matriarch of House Vae used to be a mindflayer hunter. Now she has settled into her political position as leader of the family, but she still hates the 'flayers. She wants to destroy House Noquar since they have allied themselves with the mindflayers, plus with that house's destruction House Vae will rise in standing within the city.

Our group is made up of mindflayer hunters. We have allied with House Vae since she gave Zografos a cloak that improves his ability to hunt 'flayers and she can introduce the group to the political elite of the city.

Usually in the group is:
Saaden a pyschic warrior/illithid slayer(I am not sure of the name of her prestige class, but she can hold her own against 'flayers)
Varnkesir, a ranger/foe hunter(mindflayer)
Daquinquar(usually played by Chris), she is a telepath
Cerlyn she is a rogue assasin. Vince may want to play her if he plays a character
Zografos, a tainted Yuan-ti, rogue, fighter, shadow knight, penumbral lord.

I don't know. I guess you and Vincent and myself can talk about that over email or icq sometime and decide that.

I would imagine that she is addicted to the Yuan-Ti resin though.

I wouldn't play a cleric. That would cause more trouble with the drow than what it would be worth.

Hey! If anyone wants to play Daghisa from the Gaowyn's Quest games in this campaign, lemme know. I updated him to Zog's level and he's a Were-tiger, Revenant, Mind Flayer hunter.

OK. We'll figure it out. I just didn't know if you had to make her a Yuan-Ti or a Shadow Creature or some such to procure her release...
