Savage Species preview.

Furries? 8)

D&D has definitely moved far past its origins in dark dungeons. :)

(This is likely to send people at dragonsfoot into fits!)

Cheers!

I think the most useless part of the book are the 3 pages on monster classes. Every thing else looks really useful.

Cant wait to get my hands on this one.

Funny... I see 52 pages of monster classes listed in his post of the contents.

This book was on my "I'll get around to it eventually" list, until I saw the templates and PrC contents.
It is now Priority One. Thanks for the scoop Eric Noah. Any word on exact release date?

Demiurge out.

DOH!!!

Well, with those class listings it makes the whole thing a lot easier. I wonder why we don't see class listings for things like Drow, or Orcs, or other humanoids with ECLs > 0.

Eric can you fill us in on that?

Aaron.

how exactly do you think one could design a class for a 1 HD orc.

level one: 1 hd.
maybe level 2: darkvision, but also light sensitivity.

hmmmmm.

plus i believe that drow will be writen up in races of faerun. possibly/probably like this.

They did the Barghest?

I presume that PC barghests can't just use their Feed power to advance in levels free of charge, though...? :D

Uh, Eric? Would you mind filling us in on the barghests? I'm curious...

I missed that Appendix 3 includes rules and one big chart for anthropomorphic animals. It kind of works like a template, and then you use data from the chart to fill in some of the blanks. You can put together furries! :)

w00t! :D

*ahem* Sorry 'bout that.
