Scarred Lands Setting question

Re: ghelspad

You only say that because they've not done a Darakeene sourcebook yet

And don't think that I won't buy it when it does come out because I expect to be one of the first people told about it so that I can give it a review (right after I check it for varification of the map that shows the provincial boundries!)

I'm sure it will be there San. :)

I guess I should break down and get a copy of the Gaz though. maby in January after I start my new job. Darakeene is a really good place to set your game. the PC's can bear arms (and while civialized and less jacked up then most places due to the divine war) there is always the possibility of a bloody war of assession which I would capitalize on in a HUGE way if I were a player in the game and not running it!

*smirks* Of course not. But in any case, the Gaz doesn't help much I'm afraid. I say just stick with the SLCS: Ghelspad for now and what we've discussed. The moment I hear about a Darakenee sourcebook, you'll be the first one I tell. :)

books to get

Ok, I'll hold off on getting the Divine and the Defeated, and I'll get CC2, Ghelspad Campaign Guide, ToH, DMs Screen, and Hallowfaust and Mithril....and I already have Relics and Rituals 1....so I should be set...:)

Thanks for all the info and help, you guys are great!

scarred lands

you are in for a good read and many pleasureable gaming sessions if your game runs anything like the games of Nightfall, Graf and myself

Glad I could help. If you have more questions, concerns or even just ideas, toss them out here or on the SL thread I started.

*smirks* Not all of us are as devious or detail oriented as you, myself or Graf, San. But I'm sure he and his group will have fun.

Ya, isn't that just like a sage, takeing all the credit. this is a spin off thread of of MY Scarred Lands thread that was getting kinda long in the tooth at 6 pages and when I posed the question should we continue that one or start a new one, Nightfalls responce was to quickly start this one :p ( but that's ok I didn't pose the question for credit but to possibly attract a wider audience, and thus get more input and added perspectives on a really great setting!) ;) By saying that in now way am I implying that the views by the SL regulars arn't also good, only that I am trying to encourage others to jump in as well. I'm sure that we have all helped to broaden each others perspectives.

:) I take only the credit I'm due San. You certainly are a helpful and decent member of this SL cadre. But just remember who helped you out here my friend when someone said "Where's my regional map of Darakenee?!!" ;)

Quick question:

It was mentioned above that they are doing 2nd printings of Relics & Rituals 1 and 2 due out early 2003 that will correct the erros in the books.

Is this true? It kinda sucks because my girlfriend just bought those two books (plus Creature Collection 2) for Christmas for me.
