You could squeeze more damage dice adding Psionic shot and Greater psionic shot into the mix, with Wild talen if the race isn't naturally psionic. But again, if you want a one-trick pony a Wilder with Energy Ray and the Split psionic ray feat may be better, and has the character's signature attack available from 1st level.

I agree, Ocular spell is nice. I can't stand the fact that you shoot freaking laser beams out of your eyes though, heh. It is powerful though, It allows you to store two spells and release them as rays up to 8 hours later. This allows you to turn things like vampiric touch into a ray, among other things.

Better than twinned is Energy Admixtured, no need to make double the number of touch attacks, and energy resistance doesn't apply 6 times, it only applies thrice.
