"I was just thinking the same thing." The words catch the group a little off guard as the halfling has not spoken since he began eating a half hour ago. "I don't think we all need to go though. Maybe a couple of us could go inform the sheriff and the rest could stay here and prepare for tomorrow's excursion. I for one really want to look back over the professor's books and review that passage about opening those closed doors. Maybe Kendra could research with me, I'm sure she knows those books better than any of us."

The Sheriff is in his office at his desk as the Cleric returns. He looks up and quirks an eyebrow.

Once the food is cleared away Kendra turns to the library. "So what exactly would you like to find?"

"I warned you there could be trouble up there. That's why we don't go up there. Do you have any reason to think these 'restless spirits' as you call them are a danger to Ravengro? What about the Necromancers you told me about earlier? What about them?"

"At this point, no. At least, not a direct threat. We didn't find any evidence of Necromancers yet, but our exploration has been preliminary at best. If Necromancers are involved, then there certainly could be a threat to the town." Dannis thinks for a moment. "My understanding of the undead is that most stay close to a specific locale, the spot of their death, say. Necromancers have the power to force them from these locations."
