"Scourge Of Worlds - A Dungeons and Dragons Adventure" DVD

I too wondered about Lidda's voice, sounds very familiar.

If someone has the demo or DVD handy (I am at work), check to credits and tell us who plays Lidda. We can then run the name thru http://www.imdb.com/ and see where we have seen/heard her before.

Thanks.

I watched the demo, but I was wondering how you would rate the content of the full DVD? (with regards to PG, PG-13, etc.). I thought the demo was okay for my son, but I wasn't sure about the full version.

Played the demo...

I was alternately blown away and laughing at the demo - it was very uneven.

I thought they did a good job with the three iconics - it was very nice to see Mialee meditating, and I liked the interplay between Lidda and Regdar. (Lidda was my favorite of the three.)

The first fight scene, with Baratheon and the elemental, wasn't very convincing - there was no follow-through on the mace hits, it didn't give the impression of striking a solid object at all. In contrast, when he's knocking the wolf-things around, he looks a lot better.

The three main characters have pretty good facial expressions for CGI characters, and their acting was decent. The barbarians in the bar, ont he other hand, were...ah...laughable.

At its best, it's good, at its worst, it's still better than the D&D movie.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp So what's the next step after the Collector's Edition? A sequel? Or perhaps a D&D TV show done all in CGI? :)

I was pleasantly surprised by the demo DVD, and will buy the full version. My roommate and I popped into my XBox after we got back from my D&D session last night, and we ended up watching it until 2 AM. We went through all the choices to check out the different plot lines. I thought voice acting was good, and as Erik pointed out they did a good job bringing out the details of Greyhawk. I did a double take when Mialee mentioned that the artifact's name sounded Suloise.

As a complete D&D collector goob, it's always cool to have entertaining, fun stuff to collect.
