Searching for a spell

I am looking for an AoE that is 5th level or lower and requires a fort save, I don't care what the actual area of the spell is as I will be using Sculpt spell on it. The school doesn't matter to me either. I am hoping for at least D6 per caster level.

I'm not sure such a thing exists within your parameters. Best I can come up with is Shout @ 4th - damage is fixed at 5D6 though.

Cloudkill perhaps?

Not direct damage, but can kill 6HD or under outright, persists for several minutes while inflicting con damage each round, and deals some con damage even if the targets pass their save.

With a little more searching I also found Parboil, lvl 4 from sandstorm, does 6D6 and 2D4 int damage, fort for half and negate int damage. Boreal Wind from Frostburn does D4 per level and is a 20' x 20' square out to the range of the spell, long range, knocks people back, lasts 1+1 rd/2 levels, and fort negates. Need something for enemies with evasion, but I guess that is what the fighter is for. Thanks for the replies.

I've always preferred ranged touch attacks for the enemies with evasion, but I suppose those characters are also the ones more likely to have decent touch AC.

I normally use touch spells for them also, but I am going for boom with this mage. The rest of the party is a cleric, 2 rogues, a duelist and a fighter sometimes. They are all pretty good with single targets and the cleric has been using single target spells and some aoe. These spells should do the trick though.

Somewhere I remember hearing about the Negative Energy Burst or Surge spell (dunno where that was, maybe Complete Arcane?). IIRC, it did some hp damage (though I don't think d6 per level) as well as inflicting Str damage.

Edit: No Negative Energy Surge in Complete Arcane, but there are some ptions In the Pathfinder Core rulebook. Shout does a straight 5d6 damage and deafens creatures. Ice Storm allows no save and does 5d6 damage plus limits mobility.
