Lo-kag jumps down with the rest of the party.

ooc: for some reason I cannot get on LEBWiki to view lo-kag's sheet. I don't know what his skills in dungeoneering and perception are at the moment. :(

[sblock=ooc] Dimsdale: It does not look as if you have transferred your character over to the new Wiki. Did you make a backup of your wiki code? I only ask because it seems that the backup wiki seems to be down at the moment. [/sblock]

Alexia also hops down the pit and looks around as she picks up her sunrod. "These passageways aren't stable. Any carelessly desctuctive action," Alexia shoots Lo-Kag a quick glare, "could result in us all being buried alive."

ooc: Passive Perception of 19, rolled a 20 Dungeoneering Rolls.

[sblock=dimsdale]I believe your Pecception and Dungeoneering are both +1.[/sblock]

Gurdan lets out a sigh as he peers down toward the others.

"I've had a bit too much jumping today," he says, as he lands with an enormous THUD. As his eyes adjust to the darkness, he frowns. "Careful, friends - I don't like the look of these walls." He presses his ear against the rock and taps a wall lightly with his hammer. Clearly he is not pleased with the architectural integrity of this bit of cave.

"One big bang is all it'd take to make this our communal grave. Got it?" He eyes the arcane practitioners of the party significantly.

"No explosions."

(Acrobatics 3, Dungeoneering 28, Perception 19)

Besides the unstable passageway, Alexia can see the many footprints that come too and go away from the spot you are now at.

[sblock=ooc] I'll wait for Grryth and Riel/? to post something to give them a chance to gather some information about the area, then we'll move on :) [/sblock]

An axe in each hand, Grryth jumps down the hole following the others. He gives the area a quick scan looking for any sign of danger and for clues. Upon spotting the drag marks grryth grips his axes a little tighter and starts off in the direction the tracks lead, keeping an eye open for a probable ambush..

1d20+9 (Perception)=24

1d20+4 (Dungeoneering)=15

[sblock=Grryth] oh! a 24, sooo close! We just need Riel to post and we'll keep going! [/sblock]

[sblock=ooc] With Grryth moving forward, what are the rest of you doing? What kind of marching order are we looking at here and how close to each other are you going to be? [/sblock]

[sblock=marching]It depends on how wide the tunnels are. If they are 10ft or wider, then we should probably do something like this:

Gurdan Grryth

Lo-Kag Garrick

Riel Alexia

This puts our defenders and the action-granting Lo-Kag in the front. Alexia is tough enough to hold off minor ambushes, and has enough ranged attacks to not be useless if there's a bottleneck.

If the path is only 5 ft wide, then something like this would be good, probably:

Gurdan
Grryth

Lo-Kag
Garrick

Riel
Alexia

As for spacing? Well, now that I know we'll be facing aoes () I'm tempted to say we should spread out as much as possible. More practically. if we're using the first one, then 5 ft between everyone. If there's room, maybe even spread out more to avoid burst 1s. If we're using the second, then 5 ft between each pair. Spreading out more will put the people in the back very far away from the action. So sort of like how I spaced it out.

Anyway, that's my suggestion.[/sblock]

"Friends, I was born in a cave, or near enough, anyways. Best let me take the lead," Gurdan says.

// THB's marching order sounds good to me
