Seeking kingdom random events

Way back under 2nd edition AD&D I ran a game where the characters became local lords and such. I had an issue of Dragon magazine that had rules for running small kingdoms and a monthly events table. Was a really good campaign.

With everyone in my current Pathfinder group motivated by the Game of Thrones TV series, I was pondering running just such a campaign again. Does anyone know of a D20 source for running such a game? I have A Magical Medieval City Guide from Expeditious Retreat Press which is helpful but some realism but not quite what I'm looking for.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

While not d20 I highly recommend these:

Book of Regency & The Legacy of Kings (Birthright)
Wizards Celebrates Birthright's Anniversary

Mongoose's Classic Play: Book of Strongholds has a solid section on governing a realm with very interesting breakdown of legislative, economic, diplomatic, executive, civic, military, and covert actions. It's a great supplement all around too.

Basic D&D Rules Compendium also has a Dominions & Strongholds section with random events table.
