Guess what I bought today? ;)

I was lucky. One of the LGS got a copy in today, and I just happened to be there when he was putting it out on the shelf. I also got a copy of the True20 Bestiary from another local store.

The True20 RPG rocks!!!

I already have lots of gaming ideas and the genre chapters in the back are a great addition to the book. I've decided to make my Dark World campaign setting a True20 world.

Isn't it Great! I wish I could be a player in a True20 Campaign, the customization is exactly what I've been looking for. Guess I'll have to wind up running myself. Since the only DM's around me are running either 4th ed or 3.x

Very few game books make me excited to use, add-to, and deconstruct. The book is very well done and is a great toolkit book.

Hmm, perhaps we should try to put together a True20 pbp game? I still need to digest a lot more of the book, however. I'm only up to the Skills section; although, I browsed through all of the genre chapters.

I could could use this not only for Dark World and Time of Ages, but for Arcanum of the Stars (i.e. my version of Dragonstar), Gamma World, etc. Ooh, now I want to convert the old Alternity races and creatures to True20 from the versions in D20 Modern/Future!

Once again, the newest rules for Savage Worlds assumes that you want to use minis in the game but does not REQUIRE it. You can easily play without them and in fact, a lot of people do. Most people that play Savage Worlds over the night (ie OpenRPG, etc), do away with minis alltogether. In fact, the rules give range increments in terms of using minis AND in terms of real world distance, like feet, miles, etc.
