Between starting a new blog and trying to start a Numenera campaign, I find myself with relatively little time for reading. I also have little to nothing worth reading available. However, I just recently found The Paper Magician by Charlie N. Holmberg in my college library, and I'm enjoying it so far. It's about a young lady in an alternate history Victorian London who, despite graduating magic school and having designs on becoming a Smelter, i.e., a mage who works with metal, she is forced to become a Folder, a paper mage.
I usually detest Victiorian London, but it's been quite good so far.
