Pathfinder 1E Setting: Pathfinder's Golarion

As far as the ruling on Guns, Gunpowder, and 3.5 rules that address this system, you might check into Traveller's Handbook. Traveller was the 3.5 OGL remake of classic Traveller. They did an awesome job of talking about guns, to hit, fail rates and even what TL (technology levels) you needed to have guns. Traveller is more Sci-Fi based than standard d20, but they still have the mechanics down pat and they are good. If your looking for more of a fantasy setting but might want to throw guns into the mix, I worked up a Pathfinder Compatible campaign setting that mixes classic 3.5 with Pathfinder into a world that is Traveller orientated. What does this do? Not much its flavor but it is no longer a setting with City states and one world, Dredan brings in over 25 different worlds (systems) and 75 different planets with descriptions of each. Planet of Elves, dragonworlds, demonic, human planets and some very technologically advanced worlds with some races that come from these worlds. It is all Pathfinder compatible including new sorcerer bloodlines and even some new deities. If you don't like Pathfinder, there are plenty of fantasy worlds (medieval - TL 3 or lower traveller terms) for any type of party to adventure with. Dredan is definately good vs evil, but the whole premise of Dredan is it is tied directly to the Positive and Negative energy planes, so your going to get alot of that type of feel.

Case and point, good thing about 3.5, Pathfinder or Traveller, you can be in any world you want. Our homebrew campaign is extremely complicated and mixes Pathfinder, Dredan, and Spelljammer all into the Dredan setting so you will pretty much see anything and everything and we do TRAVEL alot.

Let me rephrase that for you, if I may. "In a nutshell, they utterly returned the flavor to something that more closely resembled what it initially launched as, but had completely lost sight of over the years.

Golarion, in many ways, has some similarities to the revitalized Realms."

I disagree. The FR now is not what I liked about my old grey box. Not at all.

* Alkenstar sounds very interesting. How well do Guns work within Pathfinder?

I didn't notice it mentioned so I'll point out that the recently released Tome of Secrets has firearms rules specifically designed for Pathfinder. I haven't had the chance to go over it very thoroughly yet. But, it does look good to me.
