its seems to always say that the boys are uh getting the laying while the women are the objects. Not too sensitive there, boys. Not one bit.

Well, I assumed that the coupling was mutual in the cases cited, so that it was probably both parties doing the "laying". It's not like women can't be sexual beings as well as men.

IMC, we have a female player who enjoys role-playing promiscuous lesbian halflings - if you go by the campaign, the rest of our PCs are virgins. Including the elf (mine). At eleventh level.

It doesn't seem to decrease our enjoyment of the game. Although it's funny as h*ll when Serena (the PC) enters bordellos.

significant others

Let's see. As a human ranger, I had a state marriage with a daughter[npc] of the Valley of the Mage, 2 kids I never got to play.
As a cg human priest, I persuaded the female PC of the need to enjoy life while you can after she got killed and raised. The rest of the party, a bunch of uptight lawfuls, gave us a swordspoint wedding at which she [male player by the way] objected more than I did.
Later as a human male cleric reincarnated as a gnome, I hooked up with an alu-demon, beating out the party ranger due to my "special healing touch". After she showed her true colors and we bashed her, it cost me a fortune to get her back. The party got real upset when the kid had horns and bat wings. We spent some time on the run until they calmed down.
As a human male priest reincarnated into a female ogre, I got married to my chief henchman, a human male mage.

As DM, well, I recall one PC who had a real fun time at a bar one night. Her father came around a couple of days later to arrange the wedding, which he could not quite leave town quite fast enough to avoid.

Right now, I am running a postal game for some prisoners. I am going to ban nymphomaniac bi-sexual lesbians on the grounds of being done several times.

Also for a dowery, my character got a griddle of strom giant strenth, I was playing a cleric... [/B]

Ah the classic Griddle of Strom Giant strength (you too can gain the strength of a 100 year old senator from Saouth Carolina. Just by lifting your political incorrect Griddle and whacking your oppponents...). I remember it well.

I'm surprised that no-one has brought up that quote from PvP.

(I don't remember it correctly, but...)

"In spite of the fact that my armor and weapons are desperately in need of repair, I blow my share on ale and <prostitutes>."

=========

Given that, in a 2E game I played in (the ONLY game I've played in, grumble grumble), our party went through several adventures of the Outer Planes (OP1) adventure. One of the adventures had us going to a party in a god's home, and we had to provide entertainment. The DM and I went through my list of non-weapon proficiencies, and nothing seemed to match... until the DM saw my wizard had a 17 Charisma. Yep, I got to be a gigolo. ("Oh, I'm just a gigolo...")

So, as a consequence, I ended up with a half-succubus daughter. :)

I think that part of the reason that this can be (or usually is) an awkward issue is because a large number of groups are populated by guys.

On the contrary.... I've been playing with the same group for like 14 years now. This stuff comes up often enough OUTSIDE of game, and in ways that would make Dragon Girl run and hide, just never inside. That's why I mentioned that it surprised me.

LOL

I work in an environoment where males are the majority. (I'm an engineer and an engineering graduate student) They also talk like they have the sexual maturity of 13 year old (sorry if I insult the more mature 13 year olds out there). I'm also old enough to have heard it all (if not it all the most of it) so I'm not phased so easily by words bandied about.

The interesting thing I noticed is how often the males on this forum forget that there are women who read this board. And then they go off and say "oh no its a joke don't you have a sense of humor" and then next time I throw one their way and they get all offended. Isn't that a bit hypocritical? Its a joke? Don't you have a sense of humor? :p

Our group, everyone's in the 30s and 40s and it just doesn't come up.

Sidestepping from the double entendre....our group of players is in the same age group as yours, and relationships and their consequences occur quite often. Our group has been running for 21 years, 15 years in character time, and the party now has a number of children running around. Most are the offspring from player character marriages, but several are from unmarried accidents.

We ran a fairly long campaign a year ago where two main subplots revolved around illegitimate children - one involving the child of a dwarf/human relationship four decades earlier, the other when a key PC found out his girlfriend was with child. We also had a scene in that module in a dwarven bar where a number of playing characters acquired some company for the evening, although the actual encounters were handled "off screen". BTW, that module is posted as the following Story Hour:
