Shackled City Adventure Path Questions (New Question)

Mild spoilers in this post... those who have been through it will know what I mean, but I don't think I have any real surprises here!

All I can say is that the planar adventure is a really, really bad place to have a TPK, especially near the end. I tried continuing the path with new PC's but the start of the next adventure made little sense because the bad guys were essentially sending assassins out after people who didn't do anything (yet). Later on, they failed to pick up on some crucial plot hooks because said hooks were seen only by the dead PC's (and my players tend to miss clues when slapped in the face with them). The PC's had no idea what to do, and I was getting tired of railroading, so the campaign died.

One villain killed the party, killed the campaign, and didn't even succeed in his objective! Very ironic.

Kaurophon got a TPK?!?! I'm amazed. My PCs didn't believe a word he said and were waiting for him to turn. The party wizard spent the entire adventure antagonzing him about it as well. It almost got him killed when K tried to Disintegrate him at the end. After that the cleric of St. Cuthbert went "Vader" on him and tossed him into the plasma and got himself a smoking eye. Wonder what Jenya is going to think about that!

Thanks one more time for all the help.

Got a new question for those that have DM'ed or played these so far.

I've noticed that there is a church of Pelor in Cauldron, I was wondering if anyone can tell me about the PC's there and if the church plays a major part of any of the adventures.

The reason I ask, is I ahve a Player playing a priest of Pelor, so I need any info I can give him regarding the current clergy if possible.

As of right now I have issues 97m 109, 111 & 113. I'm using the labled map of Cauldron from issue 111.

Thanks

Pelor is a small shrine with one attending cleric (actually, I think he's a paladin).

Not quite. ;) Kristof Jurgensen is a Clr5 of Pelor. He play a pretty minimal role in most of the adventure path except for in issue#109 "Secrets of the Soul Pillars" where he has a little bit-part. There is also a shrine to Pelor in the nearby village of Redgorge, featured in issue#104 "The Demonskar Legacy".

The other churches of Cauldron are brought into play in the second installment "Flood Season" (Dungeon #98), as they are normally responsible for creating the "wands of control water". This is a good way to indroduce the other faiths present in the town to the PC's (especially the Church of Wee Jas, which will feature prominently in further adventures...)
