Shackled City - Ch. 1: Life's Bazaar

"And if you wouldn't mind I would like to have a look about your facility here, to see if I can assertain the method by which the kidnappers entered and left, I'm a bit of a security expert. And perhaps my mystical firend Adar here could assist me with his magic?"

If she agrees I wish to take 20 to search the orphanage, paying special attention to the rooms the childern were in.

OOC: Sorry for the delay guys, my Internet has been knocked out from damage caused by bad storms. It may still take a few days before it gets back up. I'd continue the game, but I don't have my stuff with me at the moment. If I don't get the internet back this weekend, I will try andf update on monday.

Ok, internet is back. I will try and get all of the relevant info that you asked for. If I miss something, let me know. By the way, there was 4 children kidnapped.

"Their names were Fellion Shard and Fario Ellegoth, I believe. They asked much of the same questions as the town guards had, but they did seem genually concerned about the children.

I didn't hear a thing that night. No door, no floor creak, not even a scream. It is like they just up and disappeared. I don't even know how they could have gotten in here. The locks are the best money can buy, and I have the only key.

Sym looks around the orphanage, trying not to wake the children already asleep. He finds all the locks seem to be similar and of equal quality as the one of the front door. The windows are barred and don't seem to be tampered with. However, there is no sign of forced entry anywhere.

"Humm....." Blutok mumbles as he bends down to look at one of the locks.
"These locks do seem to be of high quality."
Blutok turns to the woman, "Perhaps you could tell us who the locksmith is that made them?"

"Keygan Ghelve, a local locksmith made them for me a couple years ago. And he charged me a pretty coin, let me tell you!" she says.

Guys, I think I might have something on the riddle. I got a hunch, and checked the map theMind gave us, and sure enough, look at area 30: Ghelve's Locks.

OOC: well...Seems ya had it pegged Blade;)
BTW: as this is my first PbP game, what is the ettiquete on ooc discussions about the game?
Was just wondering if it's ok to discuss stuff OOC or if it's all supposed to be done in character...

I'm not that strict on RP'ing. If you would like, you can express your thoughts and such in character, but you don't have to. You can be a little more general OOC. I like to put any other OOC statements in Orange, but that is just me.

But that is my view on it. the others may have different opinions

"Master Ghelve's prices are worth the quality of his work I assure you, although I must say that I don't see how the kidnappers entered without a key to your locks themselves, perhaps our best course of action would be to go see Master Ghelve in the morn. I do thank you Miss for your cooperation."
