Siam - Catfolk Warlock 9

What manner of creature are those? I am not sure if I have ever seen one before or not but I doubt they will be much of a threat for the people I have accompanied out here. I would assume that we should be done with this minor disturbance shortly.

[sblock]
Siam will prepare to attack any of the creatures that try and get around behind our group or at the nearest creature in range with a ranged touch Eldritch Blast. If I can I will use the Chain Eldritch Blast and attempt to get several of them if they are within 30' of each other and I do not have to move. +13 ranged touch attack doing 6d6 damage.[/sblock]

Slizz wonders to herself about the song Anderos sings and is quite amused. She waits to see what the creatures might be, stroking the snake Zim. "Now now Zim.. do not eat them unless you *know* they are our enemies..."

She casts an Entangle spell at the creatures, centering it so that none of her companions are caught in the area of effect.

Eyeing the road ahead, Torsak looks on his toes as it seems he is about ready to mumble something.

OOC - he is readying an action to cast flamestrike if he sees these creatures approach and can catch two of them with the spell.

Choosing to wait a bit, Grymsnarl remain hidden for the moment.

Slizz waits to see what the creatures might be, stroking the snake Zim. "Now now Zim.. do not eat them unless you *know* they are our enemies..." Calling on her powers over the flora, the druidess calls forth a multitude of grasses, weeds, bushes and even small trees in the arrea where the monsters are. However, they all seems to be able to avoid the worst of the growth.

Mumbling, the priest of Balance calls forth a heavenly column of flames, striking two of the monsters! Again they seem to be unaffected by the spell, shruging it off as if it was nothing at all. You realize that they must have some kind of resistance, or even immunity, against fire.

The four hounds are slowed, but they continue to walk carefully out of the magical entanglement. Soon they are free, and two of them continue their lumbering run towards the party-members standing in the road. The other two stand still and focus for a second, before each of them sends forth a streak of dark, purple energy towards Slizz and Torsak. In the last moment Torsak is able to avoid the purple energy, but Slizz is not so lucky. She is hit full force, and she can feel her magical energy being drained away. Slizz, 1 level 4 spell slot is now burned away from the spell. Please note this on your character sheet. I would also appreciate it if you post Slizz in the RG thread.

As the monsters leave the entangled area, Bendith lets two arrows fly at the closest beast. One strike true, but the other disapear into the forest. The beast looks to be quite unnafected by the arrow though.

Anderos is still waiting for the beasts.

Now the closest to the beasts that attacked Torsak and Slizz, the catfolk warlock unleash his innate abilities, and send forth a blast of Eldritch energy. It hits the creature in the side, and it howls in anger as the blast jumps ahead to strike the other creature as well.

Are there insects on me that I cnn use to cast Giant Vermin on? If so, I will do the following:
Slizz casts a spell, and two spiders upon her form transform into giant sized beasts. She says to them 'attack', and they go towards the foes.

If not, do the following:
Slizz, angry at having magic used on her, casts an Ice Storm, trying to catch as many of the creatures as possible.

Char posted.

Acknowledging Andros and angry that his first attempts at harming these beasts did not work, he mumbles another prayer and steps forward waiting for one of the creatures to try and attack him.

[sblock]OCC- Standard Action to spontaneously cast Inflict Critical Wounds (in place of Divine Power) anda move action to move forward 20ft.[/sblock]

Siam - Catfolk Warlock 9

Hmm, these might be tougher foes that I first thought. I will have to study them after they are dead.

[sblock]I will target the same one I hit first in the last round and will again attempt to use the Chain Eldritch Blast as long as they are within 30' of each other and I do not have to move. +13 ranged touch attack doing 6d6 damage. Afterwards I will try and take a 5' step to place a tree between me and my foes but place myself so I can still see the one I have damaged the most..[/sblock]
