A grin crosses Mathew's face as he tries to hold back his laugh. "No Lilly, Our friend here is a monk. I helped build a training room for a monastary once. Their discipline is amazing, we are honored by his presence." Mathew turns his head toward Lorth "Where did you sudy?"

Lily looks hurt. "People at the house said I was stupid, and that's why they didn't want me around. Mommy said to not listen to mean things like that, and just 'cause I'm not like other kids just means I'm special."

She sniffles a little, and says something to herself under her breath, before she puts on a forced smile again.

Lorth shrugs his shoulders, "What others say do not mean anything. You must be tough so that words and weapons merely bounce off your hide."

OOC: It doesn't appear that Lorth is trying to be mean, merely giving advice, albeit not very tactfully.
