Raven swivels around to face the room as she waits for her meal.

"I am Raven Thorn. I've been spending more and more time here of late." she smiles at Lily. "This place is full of mercenaries. You must be careful here."

*A shifter woman walks through the door. She has bright green eyes that sometimes drift away dreamily as if looking at another world.*

"Hi Raven. I'm glad to see that you have recovered from House Cannith's cowardly attacks."

*She turns to the others.*

"I am Siobhan. My brother Stulgar will be here soon. Does anyone know of any work that can get us out of this accursed city finally? I've had enough of the stink of treachery, corruption, and backstabbing here, especially from House Cannith. It is even more tragic to see other Shifters, my own people, give in to greed."

Raven nods and smiles at Siobhan. She figures its unlikely the various mercenaries here will have a positive reponse to her request, but Raven does pause and look around to see if anyone answers.

A larger shifter enters, who shares similar features to Siobhan. "I am Stulgar," he says as he enters.

"Anything yet sis?"

"We don't actually transform into a new form like Changelings. Really our race is badly named," Siobhan admits, "At best, we bring out better aspects of ourselves. For instance, I can boost my agility, fortitude, or strength as I choose, given a minute. It is all the gift of the Spirits. But they are so weak here in this city...so tormented..."

"Nothing yet, Brother," Siobhan replies to Stulgar.

"Oooh," Lily says. "You can do all that? Neat!"

"Sharn can be scary. It's a lot bigger than where I grew up, but there are strong people here. I mean, look at him," Lily says, pointing to Stulgar.

Stulgar nods and has a seat. "At least the water was fresher than last time," he says.

He looks amused at the girl pointing to him.

"Without Brother to protect me, I would surely have been murdered by House Cannith's thugs. You should leave here before the sorrows of this place dull your enthusiasm," Siobhan suggests seriously, "Even those claiming to be authorities in this town are not averse to assault and bribery in an attempt to gain the power to destroy."
