"Sounds good to me. I'm sure that in the wilds, it will go much differently the last time. That is our natural environment."

[sblock=@ Mog]Lorth didn't make the spot check, only got a 12. (Spot Check, DC 15 (1d20+2=12)) I contrived another way for him to find out about it, if that's okay. If not, then no big deal, he'll sit and wait for something else to come along.[/sblock]

Lorth watches the other shifters in the room look at something on the wall and then leave, followed by another adventurer. After they leave, he gets up and checks out what they were looking at. He nods then leaves to try to find his way to Malleon's Gate.

Raven steps back, and looks around the tavern. 'secrecy a must.' the sign says. Perhaps that means it would be better not to discuss it even with the other tavern patrons. Raven isn't sure & isn't sure if she'll even want the job once she finds out what it is. She feels somewhat ill-used by the various people trying to employ her in her last adventure.

Still. It's clearly worth while to investigate. She plans on showing up at midnight at the Charred Rat. She plans to head out and buy a potion of CLWs to replace the one she used recently. Nice to have one of those in her pouch.

Meanwhile, the 'Eureka' dwarf is presumably Seat. If so, Raven will approach him, smiling. "How are you, Seat? That's not the papers of Bryllys and his master, Wuulhash, are they?"

OOC: Moggthegob, it might be worthwhile mentioning how many PCs you want. Perhaps we can self-limit. Or do you plan to cull out your party from those who show up?

"No, these are prayers empowred with magic. I adquired them from a passing mystic, and felt that I couldn't penetrate their myteries. But I've found how! These are powerful mojo indeed, and helped me to polish and improve some of my studes on other magical and religious traditions. I feel now ready to write my thesis, but first I'd like to find more source material - the skeletons and the Encephalus Singularis were a good start, but I need more!"

Lily follows Mathew and peeks over to read the note people seem drawn too.

OOC: Yes, how many do you want. Lily is 2nd, and while not outdoorsy, she isn't city either, so she works either way.

OOC: Mathew is not woodsy or stealthy. He is only first level, so if anyone could throw some Canntih hate my way it would help me turn this down and have it make sense

(OOC: At your service--I didn't want to allow in-character hatred to disallow you from an adventure, so I had Siobhan hold her tongue ;))

"You don't strike me as the outdoors type, toady of House Cannith. This is not the job you're looking for."

*Siobhan is happy, on the other hand, to show the posted note to Lily.*
