Corran sees something out of the corner of his eye, but fails to catch on to its significance

He settles back into his seat and hopes that something exciting will come along.

The two shifters over at the bulletin board notice
[sblock=Spoiler]
A fairly ordinary half scribbled note sits on top of several other outdated notices. It reads:

Attention adventurers: Those of you with an interest in making good money for reconaissance work should meet in front of the Charred Rat bar and grill in Malleon's Gate at midnight tonight. Those who can handle themselves in Nature wanted,and secrecy is a must.

Luck,
Your future employer

"Eureka!" exclaims a dwarf that has been quietly examining some pieces of parchment for a long time. The dwarf gets a bok and furiously scribes on it a series of notes. "So simple, yet so evasive"

Lorth looks up and tries to figure out what's going on.

OOC: Raven succeeds in both spot & K-local.

IC: Raven also moves towards the notice, gazing suspiciously at the departing messenger. Standing with the shifters, she says, "You guys interested? I'm good at recon work, and you guys are good outdoors. We might make a good team."

"Sounds good to me. I'm sure that in the wilds, it will go much differently the last time. That is our natural environment."

(OOC: Hmm, Mog, if we have something of a reunion of The Funeral PCs, it might be good to know that we didn't get any treasure from that last adventure, so we'll be weaker than standard for level 3, though we do have a Druid and a Ranger. You may need to adjust difficulties accordingly, and if you add more treasure, that would be awesome!)

Balnibar jumps at the dwarf's exclamation and bounds over to him. Adjusting his goggles, he attempts to learn more, but dares not disturb him while he scribbles--moments of genius must be savored!

OOC: duly noted, I will wait to see if there are any more takers and then I ll probably start the adventure thread tomorrow.
OOC: Mog, is this open to 1st levels as well? Sorry if it's a stupid question.
