[Sblock=ooc to El Jefe]I've deducted the inks from my character sheet for your scroll of 2 first level Druid spells -- in case you haven't allready, make sure to record the scroll![/sblock]

Anvuss makes sure his scroll of Cure Light Wounds & Goodberry is packed away safely in his pack.

"Perhaps I was overly optimistic with regards to the number of employers that recruit in this location. The initial rapid arrival of an interested party may have been an anomaly."

[sblock=OoC to Patlin: ]Deducted the craft points, added the scroll, and noted that Shoot owes Anvuss 25 gp. Thanks![/sblock]

Shoot whiled away the time watching Anvuss make the scrolls, and casting the spells when Anvuss said to. Shoot found the work interesting, but decided that it was beyond him, even if he had the fancy inks and paper that Anvuss used. For his own scroll, Shoot decided to use the Detect Snares and Traps, and Magic Fang spells. He didn't get to cast those very often, and wanted to stay in practice. Besides, the Magic Fang spell made Fang's fangs magic! Shoot liked the sound of that, and if a 'forged could giggle, he'd have had to suppress a giggle whenever he thought about it.

Shoot thought Anvuss used a lot of big words. It must take a lot of big words to be a repairman in the Army. To Shoot, Anvuss seemed a little sad that there wasn't more to do here than make scrolls.

"Cheer up, Anvuss!", he exhorted. "I don't know if there'll be lots of employers, but my teacher said that if I came here, I'd learn things, and I've already learned how to make scrolls. Thanks, Anvuss!"

"An excellent point, friend Shoot. The company is pleasing and the environment is surprisingly apt for learning. There is no need to be immediately concerned regarding the lack of employment, though I do wonder how I will continue to fund my studies once my inks run out."

Anvuss contemplates for a moment.

"Something has just occurred to me. If you are aproaching a guarded location and the inhabitants yell out 'halt, who goes there?' how would you reply? It would seem that replying with your name might have unfortunate consequences in your particular case."

*The door flies open, and the pouring rain begins to soak into the entry of the common room. A Shifter and a Warforged walk in supporting a badly wounded unconscious dwarf, with a female Shifter and a human not far behind.*

*The female shifter speaks, her green eyes gleaming plaintively.*

"Excuse me, is there anyone here who could provide aid for our injured comrade? The spirits were not kind to him today."

It took Shoot a few moments to figure out what Anvuss was talking about, but once he understood, he laughed. "No, no, I'm Shoot like a sprout, not shoot like a bow. I just say, 'My name is Shoot', and then they have to figure it out." In a higher pitch, he continued: "I say, 'My name is Shoot', and they just look at me funny. They've never shot me yet!"

Shoot turned to see who had interrupted his pleasant conversation with Anvuss. "He looks broken", observed the 'forged. "If you have some berries, I can fix him. I need berries to fix him, though. You have any berries?"

*Siobhan smiles as she recognises the telltale sign of another of the spirits' chosen...so strange for it to be a Warforged, though.*

"Aye, I've gathered berries on my journey here for my own use."

*Siobhan will gently hand over as many berries as the 'forged requires.*

"Shoot is the one skilled in healing injured biologicals. However, if needed I can provide repair for damaged warforged. I believe your name was Weapon, is that correct? Do you have injuries as well?"

Weapon looks askance at the strange warforged tending to Kharas. Wood plating? Mallan mentioned the possibility, but it is still odd seeing it. No rust. But what about rot? Entropy is still entropy.

Noting Anviss' question, Weapon replies, "Despite my appearance, I am not currently harmed. This scuffing is well established."

Aidan hops to his feet to help the shifter with the injured Dwarf. He carefully watches shoot work, knowing that the druid is probably more qualified in the healing arts than he. Aidan looks up at the shifter, "What happened?"
