"Yeah, sure", answered Shoot. "There's nothing to it. I just think of what I'm going to make a sculpture of and whittle everything that doesn't look like it until it's all gone. And what's left when I'm done is a sculpture - like this one!"

After watching Shoot work for a while, Anvuss compliments him on his skill. He's begining t feel restless, and decides the feeling is due to his desire to work on something himself.

"I don't suppose anyone else would like to work on scribing some scrolls?"

ooc: At least we're all accumulating craft days... I seem to be having a hard time getting any of my pbp characters into a fight lately!

A gnome strides into the Tower's Shard. His hair is dark, long and frizzy, gathered back by a pair of elaborate yet heavy-duty goggles perched on his forehead. He wears a black studded leather apron with pockets. His sleeves hold a myriad of small tools, probes, and measuring equipment.

He heads over to Brews, who points out the sign. He reads it, smiles, and speaks.

"Hello! I am Jiminyblivet. Balnibar Jiminyblivet. My family's been in the dungeon business for years. Traps, compartments, hidden-purpose furnishings, secret doors, and the like are my specialty. If you'd like a secret door for your home, I'm ready to help."

"Well met." says a dwarf. "I´m Seat Ib´iza, these are Shoot, Anvus and Shearan. Welcome to the yawnfest."

Glad to meet you. Can't say I'm particularly fond of trapmakers though. Nothing personal, I just end up on the business end of traps too much.

"Is the crafting of traps a specialty of yours, then? My training included a segment on detecting and defeating such devices. Perhaps if you have a sample, I could practice that skill."

Balnibar looks around. "No, can't say I have a trap on me, but I'm sure we can jury-rig something up around here."

He starts examining the joinery on a chair, trying to understand its manufacture. He grabs a tankard of ale, stops, looks around for a private location, and whisks away behind a curtain. A few minutes later, he comes back out, carefully placing the chair down.

"There you go. Give this a try, and when you think you've got it, have a seat!"

Anvuss examines the trapped chair in fascination. He looks at it from every angle, studying every joint in minute detail.
