"So how about that drink my fine Barkeep? Nothing too strong mind you, intoxication is strictly fobidden in my order" he says with a smile.

Fritz seems a bit confused.

OOC: The concept of morality is still forming for the 12 year old wizard.

Rethlin looks at Fritz and offers encouragement: "Have no fear young man, the Sliver Flame protects all who embrace it."

"I'll be happy to show you the way if you so desire it."

We of the Silver Flame are to protect the innocent from darkness and temptation, Rethlin reminds himself. He makes up his mind that this youngster will not loose his way if he has anything to say about it.

Samarik smiles at the preists' assertation. Zealotry is a powerful trait; but those who embrace it are quick to make broad assumptions, he thought to himself. "Aye, religion is a good way to join a community, but I prefer to think I can be strong in myself before I give away my identity like that." He leans back and sighs, "What I would really like is an adventure right now, something with a chance for profit, excitment, and growth... Don't you agree?"

"I will agree that adventure is something that I'm interested in, however our motivations might be different kind Sir." Rethlin nods and smiles at the stranger.

"I am called Rethlin, what is your name friend?"

Fritz pipes up.

I am Fritz, this is my dog Liam. Adventure does sound promising.

He assumes he is invited, perhaps his naivety is showing, and nods in agreement of the proposition.

"Well, my name is Samarik Thertas. It seems to me that somtimes the groups that accomplish the most are the ones where the members have different goals." He holds his mug of ale high and loudly says, "To adventure!" In reply, the members of the bar hold up their mug and echo Samariks toast. He smiles, and turns back to his drink, "Now all we need is the adventure itself."

An elf walks into the Inn. He looks a bit rough around the edges. He is covered with various leaves and branches protruding from leather armor and his many belts and latches. A druid of the forest. he walks in and looks a bit uncomfortable. "hello, my name is Fearalan. I am a protecter of the forest and the animals. If any should need my assistance. please do not hesitate to ask, though i am young and inexperience, i may yet still offer great aid in any cause." he says softly and then sits by the fire and sips some water from a waterskin. oddly enough a large very agile looking wolf is at his side the entire time. he is very well behaved and does not seem to feel out of place at all.



ooc- ok this is my first time in the eberron thread. im still working on all my material. but i have a lvl 1 elf druid ready for some adventure. and i can post quite regularly
let me know if theres some nice adventure going on i can hop in on.

Samarik turned to look at the commotion, and grinned a bit at the elf's undirected monologue. "Well. I wonder what a druidic elf is doing in a place like this." He is silent for a second. "I bet it is something interesting."

"I got lost and simply wandered here by accident." The elf says in all seriousness, if somewhat weakly, he doesnt seem to think what he just did was the least bit unusual. He has been in the forest for some time now, and seems slightly disoriented. perhaps he isnt drinking water from that skin after all.

other than that i seem to have just created a elven druid with a drinking problem. how interesting [/sblock]
