There is some yelling and shouting and some howling coming from outside the inn. Moments later you hear "KORDO....KORDO STOP DOING THAT .....NO WE ARENT GOING BACK YET......THERES NOTHING FUN OUT HERE.....I LIKE THIS PLACE....WHAT....NO ...I DONT WANT TO LEAVE YET. IM GOING BACK INSIDE... I NEED A DRINK,..." seconds later the elf reappears in the door and staggers towards the bar. "HEY JOE....ITS ME AGAIN....YEAH....IM A DRUID WHAT OF IT..." he shouts. "I MIGHT BE A LITTLE UNDER THE WEATHER RIGHT NOW BUT I CAN STILL FIGHT." the elf shouts and draws forth a scimitar. and after getting a few unapproving looks from the patron quickly quiets down and puts away his weapon. oddly enough his wolf companion seems to be the less distracting out of the two, still very well behaved. the elf sits clumsily on a bar stool for a few moments. and after drawing a few heavy gulps from his waterskin, falls heavily off the stool and passes out on the bar room floor. snoring ever so loudly. the wolf looks around at everyone for a moment. then clutching his masters collar with his teeth. the wolf drags the druid out the door and out of the inn.

ooc - perhaps i over did it a bit. im sure he will sober up soon. i really hadnt planned on having him be a drunk guy. but oh well. bear with me i suppose

Samarik grins, "Well, some people can take their drinks, and others... He glances at the elf. "He looks like a pretty light guy, and even I dont go for the strong drink. All in all, I suppose it's fitting for an elf unacoustomed to it."

I do hope my contact shows up soon; this place is geting a bit... rowdy.

The door to the inn slowly is pushed open. you see the wolf that had dragged the druid out the door push his way inside with his nose. hopping over to the bar gracefully, he jumps up onto a stool and places his paws on the bar. he is gently carrying a scrap of paper in his teeth. holding it out to Brews, obviously wanting him to take it. Brews walks over to the wolf and casually takes the note out of his mouth. studying the wolf for a moment and then focusing on the note, the warforged tilts his head curiously. you hear him read out in a light voice reading the note aloud to himself "My companion has had a little too much to drink, could you please place him in a dry room in the inn for the night. Thank you." upon reading the note, the wolf gives a friendly murmur and eyes brews intently.
"Umm sure." the warforged replies and sends some of the busboys and barmaids to attend to the druid outside, and drag him upstairs to an unoccupied room. with that the wolf gives a friendly bark and leaps off the stool and follows his druid friend upstairs.

ooc - ....who are you waiting for?

Samarik watches the wolf out of the corner of his eye, and his hand twitched. He obviously doesn't like being that close to an animal without his weapon. "What an odd creature," he mutters to himself.

[sblock=corcio]I'm simply waiting for someone to come and DM for us; seems we have quite a group ready. My fighter, the dwarf, the child prodigy wizard, your druid, the priest; if only would could get someone to get an adventure going.

*cough* bront! :D *cough*[/sblock]

half way up the stairs, The wolf turns his head back around and gives a quick bark in samariks direction. the continues up the stairs and disappears.

ooc - oooh that does sound like a fun little group now doesnt it.

The next morning.... the druid walks down from the room he was placed in holding his head as he descends the stairs. his wolf happily trotting along behind him. he comes down to the bar and orders something. "water, just water" you hear him speak softly. Sitting slowly he reaches for his water and drinks it in big gulps. trying to catch his breath he coughs a few times then seems to regain some color. he hands some dried meat to his wolf who lays down and chews it readily. "im sorry kordo, i guess i need to watch my intake." he speaks to the wolf "please forgive my inappropriate behavior." to this the wolf makes a few murmuring sounds in reply and simply goes back to chewing his meat. the druid pets the wolf a few times and goes back to sipping his water.

ooc - ok i guess i should be fine now. lol. in case anyone needed a sober druid around to do anything.

ooc: If anyone is feeling enterprising, a role call of who is in the inn (Character name, class, player name) might make it easier when a recruitment opportunity pops up.

Also, I'd consider designing my next adventure around something in a PC's background if anyone wants to vollunteer to be an adventure hook. No fair vollunteering and then not coming on the adventure!

I'd like the adventure to be fast moving and fairly combat oriented, so if you don't want to post frequently or prefer more rp to combat, this won't be the adventure for you.
