Just a side note: if you have Netflix, watch the BBC tele-movies called Sherlock. It is set in modern times, which I was initially concerned about, but it actually works out quite well. The first season has three episodes, which I found to be very enjoyable.

just saw it and although the story was weaker and cliche I enjoyed it, and think it was more fun than the first.

imho I would have rather they saved the waterfall scene until the third movie, and I'd have preferred they had ended there, leaving the outcome ambiguous

I'd also have enjoyed more Mycroft...
