In looking at D&D 5E Basic (still waiting for my PHB to arrive), I only see one shield listed.
However, I'm wondering which shield of those in PF that shield represents.
It's listed as weighing six pounds, which puts it closer to the weight of the PF Light Wooden and Light Steel Shields. Actually, it's identical in weight to the PF Light Steel Shield.
So, I was wondering... Is there room for Heavy Shields in 5E that would offer +4 to AC? Is +4 to AC for a Heavy Shield too good?
Also, what about Tower Shields?
Seeing that it seems the only shield listed is given twice the protective value it was given in PF and that it is comparable in weight to the PF Light Shields, it has me wondering...
