D&D (2024) Should Goodberry get improve like Cure and Healing word?

What change would you make to Goodberry?

Simple issue;
Cure wounds and Healing word got double healing for 2024 and goodberry should follow if anyone will every take the spell, outside the "nourishment" part, and spell should lose that part.
Low levels have few exploration troubles, hunting and foraging should remain somewhat of a problem.


So how would you change Goodberry?

edit: ofc you cannot fix typo in a poll...
edit: poll allows for multiple votes so you can vote on both amount of healing and if it should give nourishment for a day.

I think Goodberry is ok as it is.

It was greatly improved by only taking a bonus action to eat or feed someone.

This makes it an improved healer's kit for creatures at 0 hp.
1 HP or 0 HP recovery does not matter. It is the stabilizing fast aspect that makes the spell outstanding.

Especially since you can give everyone in the group one berry and everyone is a healing word machine now.

Nope. Cure Wounds and Healing Word doubled the random but not the static part of healing (so has Goodberry). Doubling to 20 hp would be ridiculous.

Goodberry either becomes a heal over time if it increases potency or a pseudopotion that takes a bonus action to administer and stays at 10hp

technically you cannot give it to someone else who is incapacitated as you have to actively eat it.
Might allow as an Action to force feed someone.
and it's also melee range vs 60ft range.

Cure Wounds is now 12HP, one target
10 HP, spread out as you need,+ nourishment.

And Clerics are allowed to be a little better at healing.



That said. I am going to offer Rangers some extra options.

Choose either Hunter, Gatherer, or Trapper. You can cast the associated spell without expending a spell slot a number of times as in the class chat.
You get an additional benefit at level 13, 17, and 20.

Hunter: Hunter Mark
13: can't break with concentration
17: advantage on the target
20: d10 damage

Gatherer: Goodberry
13: +Wis extra berries
17: 10 berries to cure some conditions
20: berries heal 2HP.

Trapper: Ensnaring Strike
13: can target huge creatures.
17: target has disadvantage on their first save.
20: can target any sized creature.
