Should housecats be nerfed?

The the problem in D&D I think they highlight (somewhat) is the armor system. If you're unarmored, a cat actually is quite of a problem - they can scractch the heck out of you. But with heavy gloves on and a leather jacket, they can't.

Tell that to my leather jacket after our neighbours cat shredded it. With me wearing it.

BTW this cat REFUSES table scraps o:

He is a full grown male with a thick layer of unfortunatly matted fur. We are talking at least a +2 to armor class.

And your cat is quite big too. Is he fat or just big and furry, because usually if a cat is overweight, it's a sign that it's messed up inside (no, not emotional issues).

If that cat is fat, you should probably take him to the vet. He might have something seriously wrong with him.

They try, but he just won't loose the weight. They adopted him in at 6 years old and he is set in his ways. He is also fixed and while that doesn't automaticly make a cat fatter, it sure seems to help the battle for the bulge.

He sees the vet quite regularly. The haven't shaved his 'fur armor' of matted hair because thier new dog is still being put into her place by Mister Jack. Even with no front claws That cat is very dangerous.

He is sometimes called the "frank cat" over there because me and Mister Jack are both oily, overweight, grouchy, hairballs with bad dandruff.

But... but cats rule the world. Everybody knows that, right? Unless we want to play some bizarre fantasy world where felines aren't out natural overlords, let's leave it the way it is and go back to relatively tame changes like fireballs and dragons.
