The Academy is not 5 blocks to the north--it is in the midst of ruins of the Old City to the southeast of the city proper, and down vertically, as the New City has built up on top of the remains of the old, at least in the places where it spans. The Academy refused to move with the city as the coastline subtly shifted, partially because ancient wards and guardians could not be moved from the premises

ooc: Right, let's say the ruins which surround the Academy actually start 5 blocks to the east of here. I did actually read the stuff on the Chromatic Order in the Wiki, but apparently not everything is in there.

(OOC: Right, I think I mentioned something in the e-mail when you asked about blowing up Brimbor suggesting for you to read ATfL thoroughly or else be careful about Medibarian details; I didn't realise we'd be in the city proper. Fortunately, I'm here to fact check. Iggy would know that there is a gate near here leading into the ruins.

As for the Wiki and Medibaria, I think I mentioned this in the summary rewards thread, but the amount of info about Medibaria / the Academy in ATfL is too unwieldy to add to the wiki (by which I mean--life is too short for me to want to do it); it's easily more than we have for all cities other than Orussus combined. )

"That sounds good. We should get plenty of rations. I'll need some medicinal herbs and I've heard of gauntlets that make you stronger. If we're going to be fighting, those will come in handy."

Would we stock up on magical items in the city or at the Academy? Iggy will do some shopping, but he's reluctant to buy a new horse, considering he already has a pony back in Orussus. And without a mount, he can't carry very much. I guess he can't save his money either at this point...
