Oh crap it's really good. Potentially life-destroying.

There is some NDA stuff so I think I can describe but not share images
I won't have time to dig in until maybe the weekend
But my first impression of the environment is that it is very much like Baldur's Gate 3 except the character and monster tokens aren't animated.
The environmental sounds, music, and isometric locations will be familiar to BG3 players
The camera is impressive and the controls fairly intuitive
I think relatively easy for players and for DMs who want to run pre-created adventures.
Haven't tried building anything myself but I kinda feel like that will be the pain point in terms of DM prep

Also - this is the Unreal engine. I had to download a pretty big app. It's running smoothly for me but I have a fairly high-end Alienware gaming laptop.

I’m a little disappointed honestly. Only supports 2014 characters, with seeming no full map builder or character builder yet. It runs very well but it’s basically just the same tech demo we saw from their first reveal video.

You can build maps and characters. That's one of the easier things to do.

? It's alpha. I'm not sure what you expected.

edit" I've changed my mind and garrettKP is correct.
