I want to play RPG's. If they need minor changes I will do it at the table, or during prep time because I expect noone to make the EXACT game I want. I want to play, not bicker about expanding the market.

I want to roll dice not change the industry. I want to argue, but only in character. I want to share ideas, but not my gold.

I take responsibility for how much fun I have at the table, after all I can remember having fun with much lamer games.

I believe my dice are random, but will play with them even if they aren't because it is a game.

I will value the people sitting around the table with me. Even when they are out of spells or arrows.

I will game with most anyone, but enjoy gaming most with people I can have fun with gaming or not.

I do not believe game companies are trying to gouge me. Books may seem expensive, then you realize you have been playing several games with the same book for years and the words are still there every time you open the cover.

I value my free time, how I spend it AND the game I spend it with but I realize it will never be important enough to dismiss another person or belittle their opinion.

Hm. One problem. It lies here:

I want to roll dice not change the industry.

Go ahead and want, but outside of some very carefully arranged scenarios, it is not a practical possibility. By playing the games, by purchasing books and dice, by talking about it in places where others can hear, you have an impact upon the industry. You cannot participate without having some (albeit small) infuence.

So, the question isn't whether you want to change the industry or not. It will happen. The question is only in how you go about it - actively or passively.
