Simpler AoOs

I'm not sure some FAQ doesn't overrule me here, but it seems obvious to me that the answers are:

No.
Yes (unless disbelieved).
Technically yes, but the other guy doesn't know he should take it, so for all intents an purposes no.
Yes (unless disbelieved or the controller makes it move so that it doesn't: tumble, withdraw...).

You gave the intuitive answers. The actual rules answers (unless I am forgetting something) are:

Yes.
No.
Yes and there is no rule for him having to be aware to take the AoO, so he can.
No.

There may be one more qualifier, but I'm not sure.
In IH, it's:

1) Entering a number of threatened squares equal to more than one-quarter your total speed. For most characters, this means that if you enter more than one threatened square during your turn, you provoke an AoO.

2) Taking a standard action other than a melee attack.

3) Taking a full-round action other than a melee attack.

I find the system nice and easy, although I actually changed (1): Instead of the more-than-1/4-your-movement restriction, I just rule that exiting a threatened square without using the 5' step or withdraw actions provokes an AoO, period. It removes the need to actually pay attention to battlemat placement.
 

I kind of like what they did in star wars saga

two actions provoke an attack of opportunity
-moving out of a threatened square other then the withdraw action or tumbling
-performing an action that distracts you from defending yourself while in a threatened square ie unarmed attacks w/o martial arts, picking up an item, retrieving a stored item, moving into an enemy's square or using a skill that forces you to drop your guard (GM's determination).

I don't have SWSE, but how is this any different from D&D3?
