Have it. Love it. Even got the University add-on, but not Night Life, so far.

My wife bought it, played it for 2 days, sold it and went back to Sims 1!

I have it and both expansions. Never really got into it, but my wife plays it occasionally. I think she enjoys designing houses and decorating them more than actually playing the game though.

I'm all simmed out! I really don't care for the game series anymore. I have done almost everything possible. It is no longer a challenge to me. :\

The Sims are sort of like sea-monkeys, the fun is watching them cavort and caper

And after you've done that, whats next? What I mean to say is, after you have tried your hand at each career and done everything to maximum, there is no fun in it anymore.
I used to absolutely love playing The Sims.
