D&D 5E Single race party?

I always thought Ravenloft would be great for that. A Romanichel caravan going from city to city around the region they are in.

I always thought Ravenloft was suited to all-human games. No Darkvision, less fantastic races.

Now that Tasha's has opened the door to custom modifiers I want to do a campaign with single race of PCs. The idea is to do a Tabaxi-only party set in a deep jungle. Have you done this in the past (other than human-only obviously)? Are you considering it?

Currently playing in an all half-orc party. It’s been a lot of fun.

As far as the campaign goes, the guy DMing started exploring his own genealogy tree not too long ago, and decided to create a quasi-historical (medieval/early renaissance) campaign based on the area his family came from. With D&D monsters thrown into the mix of course.

I would consider a one shot or adventure with the premise, but not a campaign. In a campaign, your players are going to be wedded to their PC for a long time. I want them to play exactly what they want to play.

My current 5e game is becoming an all Elf party.
We have an 1/2Elven Paladin (glory), Wood Elf Wizard (necro), High Elf Wizard (evocation) & a Human Fighter/Warlock.
I figure it's on;y a matter of time before the Ftr/Warlock gets retired & that player makes a damned Elf as well.

Why other than human-only? A human-only campaign is one of the better ways to recapture the sense of wonder at the different-ness of other races.
