From about 50' away, gob1 throws a javelin at Phoenix. From that distance it is not an easy aim, and it glances harmlessly off her arm. Attack roll: 12, including range penalty

Lookspring has readied an action; at whom does he fire? The grimlocks in the front row are wielding battleaxe and scythe respectively; in the shadowy light and with partial cover you're not sure exactly what weapons the others are holding.

"Definitely hostile." Lookspring says as he sends two arrows at the grimlock holding the axe. He aims both bolts for the creatures non-existent eyes.

The drow holds up a hand crossbow and fires a bolt, but it goes wide of its target. (Attack: 7)

The surviving grimlock charges at Rowan, but his scythe doesn't penetrate the latter's armour. (Attack: 14)

From behind the fallen grimlock, goblin #2 runs up, then from a 20' distance throws a shortspear at Phoenix. At least you think it's aimed at Phoenix. It lands in the ground to her right and a couple feet in front of her. (Attack: 7). These guys aren't aiming too well.

Phoenix slashes into the neck of the grimlock in front of Rowan, then stands still while recharging the energies she just unleashed on the creature.

Seeing Phoenix' perfect slash down the grimlock charging him, Rowan draws his bow to fire at the drow. His aim is excellent, as his arrow lands right in the torso. Attack 20+8=28, crit confirm fails, damage 7. The drow collapses, leaving only the goblins standing.
