I'm thinking of taking my wife to see this movie Friday night. Has anyone heard anything about it yet? Good or bad? TIA

I believe this is the film Marvel threatened to sue over because it is "too similar to X-Men."

You know what? I'm getting pretty darn tired of Marvel and their cohort of lawyers... like there are ANY original superhero ideas anymore...

It seems like the cute family-oriented film (family bonding/working together/etc).

It is on my list of movies to see if i'm at the theatre and have people with me that would be open to seeing it... :)

(but, i'm a sucker for super hero/extraordinary-power movies)

Just got back from seeing it with my five year-old son. He loved it. I believ his exact words were "That was an awesome movie". It was a cute movie. I am sure that comic fan-boy will hate it, but I had a good time. It's half super hero half teen self-discovery. Very disney. It was a lot of fun for young kids and the young at heart ;)

Plus I saw the new Harry Potter trailer there, looks very cool.

I saw it last night with my wife. We both enjoyed it thoroughly. She loved the 80's era references, the Sixteen Candles homage. It was great to see Russell back with Disney after all of these years. It was great fun. I enjoyed it far more than Fantastic Four.

Great to see Kurt Russell again, period.

He's so cool.
Yeah, what VB said.

Only replace "Kurt Russell" with "Lynda Carter", "He" with "She" and "cool" with "hot".

What?

:D
