Slashing Unarmed attack?

A friend and I were chatting and she was wondering if there was anyway to make a monk's unarmed attacks do slashing damage. I know you could switch to a race that had a slashing natural attack but other than that, I can't think of anything. Are there any classes, races that aren't too monstorous, feats or similar that would allow that? I looked through Lords of Madness to check the arberant feats since they do a lot of body modification and found nothing. I glanced through a couple others but I didn't find anything. Any suggestions?

The PHB2 has a feat called, I believe, "Versatile Unarmed Strike" which allows you to specify (from round to round) the type of damage your unarmed strikes do.

To expand upon this... You can choose to do Slashing, Piercing, or Bludgeoning each round with your unarmed attack (and switch between them each round as needed).

Talk about redefining the Karate Chop.

I think it is a good feat, I recommend not allowing peircing or slashing damage when dealing subdual though.

I LOVE weapon damage type DR since most creatures that have it look like they should have it. Now when the evil treant attacks the monk can put that time spent breaking wooden blocks to good use.

That's something I would love to see D&D 4th edition solved. There shouldn't be a difference between unarmed damage and most natural attacks. Games mechanics wise.

IIRC there was also a PrCl in Draconomicon that changed a monks unarmed damage to S/P...
Only slashing, and the character has the choice for it to deal slashing damage or not. If so chosen, it cannot be nonlethal damage.

The PrC is the Initiate of the Draconic Mysteries.
