Slaves of the Dragon (orsal judging)

Village:
[sblock]"Vanished some time ago, never found her. Not much hope left, but I figured I'd ask. You'll need to ask 'round for shelter. Dunno who's ready to give you room."
[/sblock]

Wilderness:
[sblock]Moving away from the apparently very exciting guard spot, the group soon spots the tower to the south of Grenton. It is not readily apparent if a guard is placed or not.[/sblock]

"I didn't see anything, but I wasn't looking, either. rest assured we will keep our eyes peeled for any sign while we are in the area."

Katherine heads into the village and looks to see if there seems to be any sort of central gathering place where she can ask if any have a space to let for the night (and start looking for the woman the child described as her mother.)

As they leaves the guards, Opale tells to Katerine. "Too bad, they were not talkative ones. I hoped mentionning the kobold could have untie his mouth a bit on what is going up here."

Jack keeps a watchful eye for any unusual goings on in the village. He tries to get a handle on the general mood of the local populace...

ooc: do you want us to roleplay gettinga place to sleep or would it be a gather information check or are you going to fastfoward through it?

Village:
[sblock]As you move into the village, tired, dirty faces watch you from the houses and what must be the marketplace. Most people ignore you as well as possible, some going as far as entering their houses. For the most part, knocking on a door yields only silence or a "No room for ya."
You propably tried a third of the households, when woman who, from the descriptions, might be Sina's mother approaches you. She seems more healthy than the rest of the village, but somehow, more broken, more tired. "Try old Marl, over there," she points. "he may have room. You... you didn't happen to see..., ah, Nerlos propably already asked, and he'd have alerted me." She turns to leave again, a tear in her eye.[/sblock]

Wilderness
[sblock] "Do we want to explore this newest tower? Veras-Re looks at the rest of the wilderness group. "No one seems to be inside. Do we have anyone who is skilled in sneaking?" [/sblock]

Catching her hand, Katherine says with deep sympathy, "Are you the mother of the missing child? We were told of the tragedy at the gate. Please, sit with me a while, and perhaps I can do something to help...." She tries to catch the woman's eye as she speaks, and convey that it might be well worth her time to play along.(ooc, bluff replaced inuendo? +7 with humans, I think) She gestures to the others to go on without her, not wanting to create a suspicious crowd.

Jack moves on to the house indicated by the lady. He'll knock on the door, once the others arrive.

"Hello, Merl?" he inquires if the door opens. "A lady down the street said you might have room for a few travelers to spend the night. We'd be willing to pay."
