Slaves of the Dragon (orsal judging)

OOG: Veras-Re has also been approved.

The Dwarf Psion continues to walk with the rest of the party. He keeps his psi-crystal close to him to help him spot any potential ambushes. Veras-Re is pessimistic about Jack's absence, but he keeps it to himself (and shares it with his psi-crystal). Thus, he is especially wary about kobold ambushes.

If his hunch is right, then they may have extracted information from the Halfling. If he's wrong... well, wariness always pays off.

About 10 minutes before arriving at Grenton, Planus says, "This is taking too long. We need to get there faster. Mongrel, make us swift." Unfortunately, only Planus is made swift by this request. (Planus casts Longstrider, duration 2 hours). Upon seeing the smoke, Planus's face twists in concern. At the first sight of a kobold, Planus murmurs, "Mongrel, strengthen my bow to seek thy foe." (Casts Magic Weapon, duration 2 minutes) on his bow and then begins firing.

OOC: Updated and approved.

ooc: you were one of the ones who approved us, silly! :p Katherine is successfully leveled. :)
(As Nimisgod can attest, that job can get quite overwhelming and confusing at times)

Jack:
[sblock]With four pairs of reptilian eyes constantly wandering across the place, and four additional eye pairs wandering with the scrounging kobolds, you are not sure if you can reach the bars unnoticed, even though a few kobolds have the line of sight blocked by the fire.[/sblock]

[sblock]Well, both in-game and out of game, Jack is meant to be the poster-boy of our very own Little Sneak prestige class. Regardless of chances of success, this is the thing he's supposed to be the best at. At best, it's confirmation that he's meant to the forerunner of that PrC. At worst, it's a mistake to be learned from before he figures out how to do it right.

So, my previous action still stands. Jack will be as careful as possible, using the smoke and waiting until it seems the kobolds are looking the other way. He'll sneak out to the door of the house and unbar it, but he has his bow near at hand and his blades loose in their scabbards, just in case...

Hide = 28, Move Silently = 30, Listen = 24, Spot = 18[/sblock]

Jack pauses for a long moment at the corner of the farmhouse, fervently hoping that he doesn't bump into any kobolds on his way to the front door.
