Slaves of the Dragon (orsal judging)

(I wasn't planning on one, since the whole fight should go fast, but it seems to be in demand, so here we go)

OOC: Thanks, I know it'll probably go quick, but relative positions were a little confusing.

Jack draws his weapons, and steps up to the nearest kobold. He takes notice of the fleeing wagons, and the distraction throws off his lunge, which goes wide. Jack shouts to his allies, "Don't let those wagons get away!"

Draw weapons (rapier and dagger). 5' step to R15. Attack kobold #4.

Rapier attack = 9 (miss)

Planus, taking heed of Jack's warning, will attempt to get a shot at the driver of one of the carts, assuming his companions can handle the kobolds near the fire. He has a speed of 40 ft. If he is unable to get a shot at a driver with 40 ft of movement, he will run (or double move if not a straight line) to a position to maximize his chances to get a shot at a driver next round.

(Quarion is at the barn, Jack at Marl's house. In both are prisoners.

Jack -21
Farid - 20
Veras-Re - 19
Katherine -19
Rika - 18
Garma - 12
Thanyvan - 11
Opale - 8
Kobolds
Quarion - 5
Planus - 5

Jack steps up towards kobold 4, but him noticing the wagons, and the heat of the fire, distract him long enough to botch his attack.
(Farid goes here)
Veras-Re and Katherine rush into battle positions, katherine shooting at the nearest kobold, wounding it.
(Rika goes here)
Garma jumps at the second kobold, and downs it.
Thanyvan moves around the fire and pushes four more torches into it.
Opale's shot lands in the fire.

<waiting on Farid and Rika before posting the kobold actions>

As soon as the doors are open, Quarion's head swivels left and right, checking to see where kobolds are in the immediate vicinity. Regardless he shouts, "Out! Out! Flee to the forest!" The elf then loads and draws his bow, hoping to get a shot off at one of the draconic beasts.

OOC: This assumes the prisoners are not bound in any way. If they are, Quarion will free them as fast as possible instead of drawing his bow.

Farid gets rid of some more torches, moving toward the kobolds--if they go by him, he wants to be able to take a swip at them.

ooc: Maybe I'm too optimistic? :uhoh: Regardless, Attack: +5, Damage: 1d8+3

ooc: Farid's going to toss torches until he has to fight. NPC my character. Rita's chasing me out of Houston, so I'll be gone a few days.

Rika, 17/17 hp

"This is the best backup plan your 'dragon' could pull together? I've seen orcs pull back better Rika moves to melee the nearest kobold by the fire and stabs him in the arm. (17) (6 damage

(Take care Jdvn!)

Continued round:
Farid also gets rid of four more torches.
Rika drops the third kobold, as her rapier goes straight through the arm, and right into its chest. it whispers "You'd be surprised" before dropping to the ground.
The last remaining kobold steps away from the fire, and Jack, then tosses his torch at Marl's house, and it lands well on the roof, which starts to burn immediately.
Jeline looks at Quarion furiously and yells "Are you adventurers all crazy? The forest is where the rest of the kobolds are!"
At the same time, the villagers in the barn come audibly come to the conclusion that, if the man there told them to go to the forest, he is in league with the dragon. "To the forest? To the dragon? Who is that guy? Jeline's angry at him, but she's alone! Help her!" With that, many people storm out of the barn, trying to tackle Quarion.
More villagers storm out of Marl's now burning house.

Planus rushes after one of the wagons, not yet able to shoot (off map; can shoot next round most likely).
