Whenever I right click to save a pic or gif ior something like that, it only saves it as a .BMP file and untitled. I know there should be a way where it will automattaclly save it as a GIF or whatever it is i'm looking at. There should be more options to save it as other then a .BMP in the save menu, but there is not.

Is the file originally a .bmp?

If you have something like Adobe Photoshop, you can open it as almost any image, and save it as any other image file.

If you have paint, the drop down list should give you the option to change it.Granted if it does not. then you have to go into your paint program or such and change it there.... :(

Clear your temporary internet files, and it'll work again.

Why? Well, it has to do with caching and the way IE handles graphics files internally.

Yes, this is weird. But I saw an explanation of this problem in a Microsoftie's blog a few weeks ago.
